    Neurologic deficit

    Information

    A neurologic deficit is a decrease in the function of the brain, spinal cord, muscles, and/or nerves. Examples include inability to speak, decreased sensation, loss of balance, weakness, cognitive dysfunction, visual changes, abnormal reflexes, and problems walking.
